Gdynia - Karlskrona
Stena Line connects Gdynia in Poland's Tricity area with Karlskrona. The Stena Ebba, the Stena Estelle and the Stena Spirit sail this route. The crossing takes around 10 hours. Up to three departures a day let you choose between a day ferry and a night ferry with a cabin. Terminal & check-in
Stena Line docks at the Verkö terminal, Verkövägen 101, 371 65 Lyckeby. It's on the island of Verkö, around 10 km from the centre of Karlskrona. Check-in closes 60 minutes before departure. The terminal has toilets and a waiting area. Bookings can be paid by card or in cash on site, though cash only in Swedish kronor.
Getting there and parking
From Malmö, the E22 runs straight to the terminal. From Gothenburg, take the E6 to Halmstad, then road 15 or the E4 east to the E22. Once there, follow the signs for Verkö and Gdynia with the ferry symbol. There are paid short and long-stay car parks directly in front of the terminal.
By train you reach Karlskrona C on Skånetrafiken services, for example from Malmö. From the bus station opposite the railway station, route 6 runs to the terminus right at the Verkö terminal, taking around 30 minutes. A taxi from the centre takes about 10 minutes.
Onward travel
The E22 is the coastal road of south-east Sweden. Heading south it leads to Malmö, and heading north via Kalmar and up the east coast.
